QC Inspector

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspection operations on parts, products, and incoming materials
• Conduct and prepare test reports
• Communicate with customers and vendors as needed
• Maintain databases for equipment calibrations and work with purchasing to maintain calibrations.
• Work with departments for in-process quality checks
• Perform other jobs as needed

Requirements:


• Must be able to read various measurement equipment including, but not limited to, micrometers, calipers, ring and plug gages.
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Be able to use Microsoft office products such as Excel, Word, and Access to maintain data and generate reports.
• Be open to learning company ERP system to find shipment and order data.
• Must be able to pay attention to detail, able to learn technologies, be a self-starter, and reliable.
• Must have good organizational skills.
• Some knowledge of electronics is preferred.

Hours of work: Monday - Thursday - 6:00 am to 4:30 pm (4 days per week) Over Time may be expected as part of job duties.

Education:

High School degree or equivalent is required.

Mechanical Engineering Technician

Qualifications

• Associate (Acceptable) 3-5 years' experience preferred
• AutoCAD LT: 1 year (Minimum) 3D modeling proficiency preferred
• Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
• Technical writing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Machine Shop Knowledge (Preferred)

Full Job Description

Responsibilities

• Create and modify detailed drawings and models with AutoCAD from written and verbal specifications
• Understand tolerancing and tolerance stack up
• Maintain revision control of project drawings and documentation
• Clearly describe production methods step-by-step for product documentation
• Review & modify existing product data to ensure consistency
• Assist with engineering calculations
• Provide quick resolution of documentation questions
• Prepare proposal drawings for new product design and work with new product design for product release, documentation, and production support.

Required Skills

• Experience and proficiency with 2D AutoCAD software required. 3D modeling proficiency is a plus.
• Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, et al)
• Experience with Technical writing a plus
• Critical eye for details when analyzing drawings and documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Enthusiasm! Enjoy working as part of a team, and learning new skills
• Self-starter and motivated, able to handle assignments under minimal supervision

Hours of work: Monday - Friday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Stock Room Clerk

Job description:


1. Work with stock room manager to pull kits for production
2. Work with stock room manager to perform cycle counts
3. Be able to enter transactions into the visual system
4. Work on receiving product
5. Be trained on shipping procedures as a backup.

Qualifications:


1. HS degree required.
2. Good organizational skills
3. Motivated to learn
4. Previous experience in managing inventory preferred
5. Excellent work ethic

Hours of work: Monday - Thursday - 6:00 am to 4:30 pm (4 days per week)

Mechanical Helper

This position will report to the production supervisor but will be trained by the welder/machinist.

Duties

• Be able to cut and bend metal to shape per print or as instructed
• Weld or braze small/easy jobs as required
• Produce product for assembly in various departments
• Help develop new fixturing to produce new coils etc. for recorders, dials, etc.

Requirements:

• Must be able to use cutting and shaping equipment such as saws, torches, brakes, etc.
• Must be able to do or learn simple weld and braze operations
• Can read blueprints
• Ability to learn new skills as required
• Demonstrated mechanical abilities
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in a mechanical setting
• Some abilities with machining equipment preferred, but not necessary
• Some experience with calipers and micrometers preferred
• High school degree or equivalent (GED) required

Hours of work: Monday - Thursday - 6:00 am to 4:30 pm (4 days per week) Over Time may be expected as part of job duties.
