Job Description

Prepare clear, complete and accurate working plans and detailed dimensional drawings, installation drawings, and more complex drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes for engineering or manufacturing purposes.
Review blueprints, plans, specifications, and other customer documentation. Work on guidelines for installation drawings which meet and exceed customer requirements (bid and submittal phase). Implement these requirements on drawings sent to customer.
Use CAD equipment to provide support to Engineers by preparing routine layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches, and diagrams, to include all views and dimensions necessary for manufacture.
Revise and update existing drawings, reflecting design changes.
Establish filing guidelines to maintain up-to-date drawings.
Make simple decisions, but refer most questions/problems to Engineers or Supervisor.
Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology.
Mechanical aptitude with ability to complete basic mathematical calculations. Perform other work-related duties as required.
Work as a member of a design team, cooperating with management in an effective manner to perform engineering work of a high quality, with no errors.

Associate of Arts Degree in Engineering, Drafting, Design, Graphic Arts, or related field, or; completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting or related field, or; 3 years + drafting experience.
Knowledgeable of standard drafting practices and procedures. Excellent communication skills: interpersonal, listening, written, and verbal.
Strong mathematical skills.
Proficient in AutoCAD. Skilled in PC usage and associated software including Microsoft Office.
Able to work with minimal supervision, and efficiently schedule and manage time.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Hours 8:00 am to 5:00 pm


Well rounded individual for general machine shop duties, parts finishing, manual machine operation and light assembly. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to operating manual lathes and mills, using drill presses, buffers, sanders etc. for parts finishing and light product assembly.

M-Th 7:00 am to 4:15 pm, F 7:00 am to 12:00 pm


Job Description

To ensure raw product matches drawings and specifications.
Receiving, in process, and final inspection tasks.
To inspect final product for conformance and quality.
Verify the accuracy of calculations, and examine drawings for accuracy.
Check correct recording in reports, documents, etc.
To document products received and shipped.
To ensure product documentation is routed correctly.
Refer to technical manuals, read complex plans or diagrams.
To communicate with and build relationships with vendors and internal customers.
Enter details into computer and non-computer records, and compile information.

Education: AA or equivalent experience.
Formal training: 1-3 years
Related work experience none required
Must be able to read blueprints, and follow printed diagrams.
Must be experienced using calipers, micrometer, ring and plug gauges.
Knowledge of electronics a must.
Excellent communication skills: interpersonal, listening, written, and verbal.
Strong mathematical skills, and detail oriented.
Skilled in PC usage and associated software including Microsoft Office.
Able to work with minimal supervision, and efficiently schedule and manage time.

M-Th 7:00 am to 4:15 pm, F 7:00 am to 12:00 pm


Entry to Intermediate Level For microprocessor based temperature measurement devices. Ability to read schematics, assemble, solder, test and troubleshoot various digital and analog circuits. Ability to use common test equipment such as meters, power supplies, o-scope etc. to test and troubleshoot to the component level. Must be computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word. Duties will include but are not limited to: ˇ Some assembly of systems ˇ Test and calibration of systems ˇ Maintenance/calibration of test equipment ˇ Documenting and maintaining test results ˇ Interfacing with Customer Service, Production, Quality Control and other departments to ensure timely shipments and customer satisfaction ˇ QC of products ˇ Aiding Engineering in product development Education/Experience: AAS in Electronics Technology or related field. Experience in a product testing environment is desired but NOT required. Will train the right individual.


M-Th 7:00 am to 4:15 pm, F 7:00 am to 12:00 pm


Must have good manual dexterity and able to concentrate closely on work task. Excellent eyesight. Must be able to work looking thru magnifying glass and work with tweezers.
