Description
The DHS215XEL Handheld Infrared Thermometer is a hybrid contact and non-contact thermometer. Using a K Type thermocouple as a reference, this unit has built in software that determines the emissivity of a target object and automatically adjusts the emissivity of the instrument to the proper setting. Thermocouple plugs in to side of unit. Consider our TC869 handheld surface probe. This model is has a high temperature range of -58° to 1832°F (-50° to 1000°C) and extra long range distance to spot ratio of 50:1.
The DHS215XEL features data logging capabilities with the included Heat Spy PC Software. Interface the DHS215XEL with a PC using the USB connector on the side of the unit and the enclosed USB cable. The software provides a convenient way to log temperature readings at user selectable time sampling intervals of 1 second to 999 hours in 1-second increments. Temperature data is generated with a date and 24-hour format time stamp in a text file that can be used by programs such as Excel, Access, and Word for further analysis, graphing and report writing.
NIST Calibration is available, sold separately.
