Description
The Wahl ST2200 Soldering Iron Tester verifies soldering iron integrity using precise thermocouple sensors to simulate actual solder joints. The ST2200 is intended to be used as a quality tool to assist manufacturers in complying with Soldering Standard IPC/EIA J-STD-001C or other applicable standards.
Designed to be simple and repeatable, this unit works with a variety of interchangeable sensors to work with your soldering iron. ESD safe construction.
Specify °F or °C, 110V or 220V AC power, and North American, British, or European plug and receptacle.
- Millivolts AC only test with pass/fail warning light for voltage is MIL-SPEC compliant.
- Resistance test is user selectable for 2 ohms or 5 ohms with pass/fail warning light.
- Includes option to output to recorder: 1 mV/°F, 100 mV/mV, or 100mV/ohm.
- Transient voltage spike detector detects transients over 100 mV and 1μs pulse width.
- With built in Type K Thermocouple connector for Type K probes. Wire probe is included.
- Function selection switch allows for fast tests without moving the tip of the soldering iron.
- Auxiliary AC convenience powers the soldering iron under test and insures common ground with the tester.
- Use wrist strap tester to verify strap integrity.
Includes TC800K Wire Probe, WST-02B Sensor, Cleaning Brush, and User Manual. User manual includes calibration instructions and troubleshooting guide.
